It all began one morning as I was driving to work, passing a field of cows I had seen countless times before. But that day was different — I truly noticed them. They weren’t all black. Some had white spots, one had a brown patch. And in that small moment of attention, a poem was born.
What Do Cows Do at Night? started as a funny little idea about cows getting into mischief after dark — perhaps even causing those very differences in their coats. It was just a simple poem at first, but a seed was planted when a friend said, “That would make a great children’s book.”
It was a slow-germinating seed, but at last it has grown, flowered, and blossomed — with even more buds ready to burst open.
Today, I’m excited to share that I have two children’s books available on Amazon, with more already in the works.
Soon, you’ll be able to purchase them directly here as well. Signed copies will even be available in the future.
